A nurse has been arrested for selling a newly born twin brother to a a barren woman and her husband for 800,000 Naira (GH¢11,715)
The incident occurred in Abeokuta in the Ogun State in Nigeria after the nurse (name withheld) willingly walked into the Divisional Police Headquarters to confess.
According to the nurse, she has known the rich couple who lived in her neighborhood for years and she knows how hard they have been trying get a child.
So when she was approached to help them, she was eager to help them and planned the baby stealing scheme with
 the family. In return, she demanded N800,000 which they paid.
